Norrmalm

In the vibrant district of Norrmalm, located in Stockholm, I had the pleasure of embarking on a captivating interior photography session. This time, I had the opportunity to step into a beautifully sunlit apartment that exuded warmth and radiance. The abundant natural light flooding the space set the perfect stage for capturing its unique charm.

One of the defining features of this remarkable apartment is its custom-built Shaker-style kitchen. With its hand-painted fronts and exquisite craftsmanship, the kitchen adds a touch of timeless elegance to this historic home. As I framed my shots, I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome.

For the majority of the shoot, I embraced the existing ambient light, allowing the sun’s rays to gracefully illuminate each corner and highlight the delicate details of the interior. It was a true delight to work with the interplay of light and shadow, capturing the atmosphere that only natural light can create.

However, when it came time to photograph the wardrobe, a different approach was required. The sun had bid farewell, leaving the room in need of artificial illumination. In this instance, I turned to my trusty flash, hopefully maneuvering its light to ensure every intricate detail of the wardrobe was perfectly revealed.
